Southern Highlight 6 days

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city arrival (D)

Arrive Saigon, greet and pick up by our guide and driver. Check–in to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city tour (B,L)

A full day city tour takes in the city’s bustling Chinatown and begins with a visit to the Thien Hau Temple, from where you will take a cyclo ride; the most appropriate and unusual way to explore Ben Thanh and Binh Tay markets – two oldest, biggest and most traditional one of the south.

Then visit a lacquer ware factory to witness workers continuing a Vietnamese ancestral tradition.

After lunch visit the War Museum and the former Presidential Palace, from there on you will go on foot to visit the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City: the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall. After this historical visit, enjoy some wonderful ice cream at Fanny’s, a quaint little parlour with a French atmosphere, before exploring the trendy boutiques on souvenir streets.

Day 3: Saigon - Mekong Delta (B,L,D)
This morning we set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for it's floating market. After boarding, we meet the crew for the introduction of the ship and the welcome drink. Depart towards Tien Giang River and enjoy lunch on the upper deck while en route. Rest on the deck, or enjoy the open bar while the ship branches into Cho Lach Canal through the traffic of sand and rice barges, in scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards.

Visit of a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby. After re-boarding, complimentary welcome drinks are served. Open bar and rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. Dinner and overnight on board

Day 4: Tra On - Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B,L)

Rising to the sounds of the Delta coming to life for yet another day, we have breakfast while the ship is cruising to the Tra On floating market. The ship then departs towards Can Tho.

After arrival in Cai Rang floating market, transfer onto a local boat to visit the floating market, the nearby arroyos and gardens and return to the Ninh Kieu Pier for a road trip back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in HCM city. .

Day 5: Cuchi Tunnels – Cao dai temple (B, L)
Depart for a road trip to Tay Ninh where is home to the unique Cao Dai sect.The religion is a hybrid of Buddhism,Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. The Cao Dai temple at Tay Ninh has been described as a Walt Disney fantasia of theEast. Here we will observe the colorful mess of caodais prayers.

Following lunch we will drive to the extraordinary Cu Chi tunnels. During the war for independence, "Viet Cong" guerillas built the labyrinth of narrow tunnels virtually underneath U.S. bases, using them to hide during bombing raids and to stage surprise attacks. Later return to Ho Chi Minh city

Day 6: Ho chi minh city departure

After breakfast morning is at leisure. Check out of hotel and transfer to airport departure flight.
