Maichau Discovery 2 days

Day 1: Hanoi - Hoabinh - Maichau (L,D)

Leave Hanoi for a road trip to Mai Chau  via Hoa Binh city. En route we are able to take in the beautiful scenery along the way. On  arrival,  check in to lodge, freshen up then have lunch on stilt house.

Afternoon, we drive to the White Thai village of Poomcong. An afternoon walk exposes us to the tranquility of the valley and gentle green rolling mountains.
 

Our hosts for the evening will be the White Thai minority people. Through their hospitality and openness we learn about their lives and unique rich culture through an informative exchange following the evening meal accompanied by the traditional dance performance of the local Thai people.

Tonight’s accommodations while rustic, will provide an unusual and memorable trip experience.

Day 2: Maichau village - Lac & Van villages (B,L)

Following breakfast we embark on a lovely walk to Lac village and Van village. As we walk we will encounter the local villagers going about their daily routine of tilling  fields, logging, or herding the buffalo.
