Elephant Trekking 4 days

 

 

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city - Buon Ma thuot (B,L)

Depart for Buon Ma Thuot City. Stopovers will be made along the way to see beautiful scenery such as pine forests, rubber & coffee plantations and tropical jungles. Visit D’raysap waterfall (Smoke Falls in Edeh language) with the romantic legend of Romeo and Julliette in Vietnam, where the rigors of a long journey give way to relaxing moments. Check in and overnight in Buon Ma Thuot. 

 

Day 2: Buon Ma thuot - Don village (B,L)

Depart for Don Village, the native land of ,wild elephant catchers and tamers whose fame was renowned throughout the region. Visit a seven-storey waterfall, the Hamlet of M’nong & Laotian minority people and tomb of the elephant hunter’s King. Explore Yok Don National Park consisting of a primitive tropical forest. Come back and overnight in Buon Ma Thuot

 

Day 3: Buon ma thuot - Lak lake (B,L,D)

Depart for Lak Lake, a M’nong language appellation meaning "water". Discover an elevation by the lake that is the Bao Dai King’s Residence. The daily activities of the M’nong ethnic minority in Jun village includes riding elephants and rowing dug-out boats. In late afternoon, attend "Cong Chieng" (a musical performance of M’nong people) and drink "Can" wine. Spend the night in a bungalow.

 

Day 4: Lak lake –  Ho Chi Minh city (B,L)

Back to HCMC by road and transfer to Hotel. Farewell dinner with spectacular views in the highest restaurant in Viet Nam
