Booking Procedure

Booking will be confirmed only upon receipt of an advance deposit.

1. Mystical Indochina Travel requires a 20% advance deposit to hold a booking.

2. The balance of 80% must reach Mystical Indochina Travel 30 days prior to travel departure date.

The agreed itinerary is not the one listed on our brochure or website, it is the one sent latest to you via email or fax or post... by our Travel Consultant.

Children and infants

For all tours, children (from 5 to 10 years old of age at the time of booking) are charged at 50 % of the adult price. Children from two to five years old are charged at 15% of the adult price, unless otherwise stated in our tour program.

Liability

The prices are subject to amendment should the transporters/hoteliers amend their rates prior to commencement of the tour.

Refund

After commencement of travel, no refund in full or in part will be given for services included in the program which are not utilized.

Hotel check in - check out time

Hotels check in - Check in time is generally 2:00p.m.

Hotel check out- Check out time is generally 12:00p.m., with extended check out granted subject to availability and agreement by participating hotels.

Travel Documents

In the event that visas are required, Mystical Indochina Travel will be pleased to help organize the visas (sometimes at additional cost). Please note however that Mystical Indochina Travel cannot be held responsible for information on visa regulations, or for visas that are not obtained or accepted by local authorities.

It is the tour members’ responsibility to ensure that they have valid passports and visas, where necessary.

Responsibility

Except in situations beyond human control, Mystical Indochina Travel will be held responsible for any additional expense resulting from any changes caused by us in itinerary, transportation, accommodation and meals.

Except in situations beyond human control, Mystical Indochina Travel shall provide compensatory service for participants or refund the difference in payment for services rendered below standard.

The detailed program and scheduled flights are subject to changes by airlines without prior notice and in accordance with the weather conditions and daily operation of flights.

Consequently, the itinerary concerned might be adjusted. If this occurs, Mystical Indochina Travel will do all in its power to assist participants in boarding flights or finding alternative arrangements.

Note however that it is done as a courtesy to participants and Mystical Indochina Travel can not be held responsible for denied boarding, or for additional costs incurred.

In addition and without limitation, Mystical Indochina Travel is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay, or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force major, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.

Policy regarding cancellation / no show / early departure

In case of special train journey and peak season hotel bookings, a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which would be advised as and when required).

Mystical Indochina Travel must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing and cancellation charges would apply as follows:

* Before 45 days - 10% of the total tour / service cost

* From 45 days to 15 days - 15% of the total tour / service cost

* From 15 days to 07 days - 25% of the total tour / service cost

* From 07 days to 02 days (48 hrs) - 50% of the total tour / service cost

* From 48 hours to arrival or no show - no refund

Travel insurance

Mystical Indochina Travel highly recommends that all travelers take out an adequate insurance policy before traveling. Please contact a travel insurer in your country to receive more information.
