Astounding 10 days
Day 1:
Arrival Phnom Penh (L,D)
Arrival at
Phnom Penh, Meet your tour guide and transfer to hotel. Freshen up before
have lunch.
In the
afternoon, visit the Silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace and the National
museum.
Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 2: Phnom
Penh - Kompong Cham (B,L,D)
Depart to
Kompong Cham -third largest city in Cambodia. En route we stop at Skun, a
small village known for its culinary specialty of fried spiders. Visit Vat
Nokor, and the plantations of Heveas in Chhup's region.
Overnight in Kompong
Cham.
Day 3:
Kompong Cham - Kom Pong Thom (B,L,D)
Depart to
Kompong Thom ,visiting a small traditional village on the way.
Overnight in
Kompong Thom.
Day 4:
Sambor Prei - Phnom Penh (B,L)
Take an
excursion and discover Sambor Prei Kuk's temples, certainly the most
beautiful examples of the Pre-Angkorien art of the 7th century with more
than one hundred temples nestled amidst luxuriant vegetation.
Return and
overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 5: Phnom
Penh - Siem Reap (B,L,D)
Depart by boat
for Siem Reap. At arrival, transfer to the hotel. Short visit of Siem Reap
before viewing sunset on all the temples, with spectacular views over
Angkor Vat.
Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 6: Visit
Angkor (B)
Morning visit
to the "Great City" of Angkor Thom. The visits includes the famous Bayon
Temple, Phimeanakas Temple within the Royal Palace enclosure, Baphuon
Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. The
afternoon is dedicated to the most famous & magnificent Angkor Vat temple.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 7: Visit
Angkor (B)
A morning visit
to a selection of temples, including the Royal City of Preah Khan with
impressive sculptures, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon, Preah Rup. In the
afternoon our visits continue to Thommanon temple , Ta keo, Ta Prohm with a
part of the jungle, Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang a Royal bathing place and
Prasat Kravan. We will visit Les Chantiers Ecole, a handicraft center
located in the center of Siem Reap.

Day 8: Visit
Banteay Srei - Rolous (B)
Morning visit
to the enchanting Banteay Srei. The second visit will be to Banteay Samre,
with elaborate architecture and exceptional carvings. This tour also
includes a visit of a local village. In the afternoon, we will visit the
earliest temples of Angkor area, the Roluos group. They are the Bakong
Temple Mountain with beautiful carvings on the false doors and lintels, the
funerary temple of Preah Ko, and Lolei Temple.

Day 9: Tonle
Sap Lake - Silk Center (B,L)
This morning we
will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap lake. This is the largest permanent
fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap river, joining
the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fisherman "floating village" with
floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is like a big village
floating on the lake, which moves from place to place following the water
levels and currents. View the Silk Farm in Puok, established by a French
NGO to revive Cambodia's beautiful silk production. We will witness every
step of silk production.

Day 10: Siem
Reap - Departure (B)
Free at your
leisure until your departure flight home or to the next destination.
